1. Adhesion and scratch: the defect on the surface of the part or die due to the friction between the material and the punch or die;
2. Burr: mainly occurs in the shear die and blanking die, and the gap between the cutting edges may be large or small, which will produce burr;
3. Line offset: when the part is formed, the part that first contacts with the mold is extruded and forms a line;
4. Convex and concave: foreign matters (scrap iron, rubber, dust) are mixed in the uncoiling line to cause convexity and concave;
5. Twist: due to uneven stress, poor matching of drawbead, or poor control of press slider, the r corner or embossed part of the part is twisted and strained;
6. Wrinkles: wrinkles at the edge or r part due to poor adjustment of the press slider, low accuracy of the press, improper adjustment of the air cushion pressure, large punch or r part, etc.
7. Other specific problems: In daily production, the punching size is too large or too small (possibly exceeding the specification requirements) and the size of the punch is quite different from that of the punch. In addition to considering the design size, processing accuracy and blanking clearance of the forming punch and die, the following aspects should also be considered to solve.
(1) When the punching cutting edge is worn, the tensile stress of the material increases, and the tendency of turning over and twisting of the stamping parts increases. When material turnover occurs, the punching size will be smaller.
⑵. The strong pressure on the material will cause plastic deformation of the material, which will lead to the larger punching size. When the strong pressure is reduced, the punching size will be smaller.
(3) Shape of punch edge end. If the end is trimmed with an inclined plane or arc, the punching part is not easy to turn over and twist due to the slow cutting force, so the punching size will become larger. When the punch end is flat (no inclined plane or arc), the punching size will be relatively small.
